Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-05-15

1. Acceptance

By using the medbridge.am website and submitting an application, you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the site or submit an application.

2. The programme

MedBridge organises international medical observerships at Astghik Medical Center in Yerevan, Armenia. The programme is intended for medical students, pre-medical students, healthcare trainees, residents, and young physicians.

3. Application is not a contract

Submitting the application form does not create a contract. Acceptance into the programme is at MedBridge's and Astghik Medical Center's sole discretion. A binding agreement is formed only when (a) MedBridge issues a written acceptance, (b) the participant signs the programme agreement, and (c) the programme fee has been received in cleared funds.

4. Observership scope and disclaimer

The programme is primarily observational. Participants are not licensed to practise medicine in Armenia and shall not provide patient treatment, diagnoses, or unsupervised clinical care. Supervised hands-on exposure is available only for qualified advanced students, subject to specialty, hospital approval, and Armenian law. Participants must follow hospital regulations, sterile-field protocols, and the instructions of supervising physicians at all times.

5. Fees, refunds, and rescheduling

6. Travel, insurance, and personal responsibility

Participants are responsible for travel arrangements, a valid passport, any required visa, comprehensive travel and medical insurance, and any vaccinations or health requirements for entry to Armenia. MedBridge does not provide medical, accident, or liability insurance.

7. Confidentiality

Participants must maintain confidentiality of all patient information observed during the programme, in compliance with Armenian law and accepted ethical standards. Unauthorised photography or recording in clinical areas is prohibited.

8. Intellectual property

All content on medbridge.am — including text, images, and programme materials — is the property of MedBridge or its licensors and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedBridge's liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the programme is limited to the fees paid by the participant for that programme.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Yerevan, Armenia.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the most recent revision.
